B-Care is a young technology startup specializing in IoT
solutions applied to livestock farming. The structure is being
formalized and aims to obtain LLC status in the coming
months.
The startup is supported by a team of
committed engineers, motivated by the desire to modernize cattle
farming through accessible digital tools adapted to rural
African realities.
The main objective of our startup
is to ensure health monitoring in order to increase yields and
contribute to food self-sufficiency.
Scan Her is a portable, AI-powered breast and cervical cancer screening system that works with both Android and iPhone, even without internet or stable electricity. It helps nurses screen women early, anytime and anywhere, to save lives through early detection.
Kidjamo is a connected medical device (bracelet, watch, tank top) that predicts sickle cell crises. Its algorithm continuously analyses vital signs to anticipate crises. In critical situations, the system automatically triggers simultaneous alerts to relatives and doctors, gives immediate recommendations to the patient, and directs them to the nearest hospital via a carpooling service. Kidjamo thus reduces crises, stress and hospitalisations, bringing peace of mind to patients and their families.
DISAADE is an intelligent, autonomous neonatal incubator designed in Guinea to protect premature newborns in low-resource settings. By combining AI monitoring, energy autonomy, and a connected digital ecosystem, DISAADE helps save lives from the very first breath.
Construction workers face life-threatening hazards daily, with over 83% at risk and 65%+ of incidents linked to fatigue. SafeGuard is a compact smart attachment worn on a helmet, vest, or wrist that detects heat, gas leaks, fatigue, and falls in real time, alerting workers instantly. Supervisors monitor operations via a web platform with a live dashboard, AI insights, and hazard classification, helping prevent accidents and save lives.
GazNika is a green-tech startup developing an integrated solution for producing and distributing biogas from organic waste. It combines biodigesters adapted to tropical environments with a bottled biogas distribution model and valorizes the resulting digestate as organic fertilizer. GazNika delivers a circular approach that provides clean, affordable, and economically viable energy solutions with strong scalability potential.
With our Ecotadji project, we aim to permanently solve the problem of plastic waste by transforming it into fuel, bitumen, and gas (propane, butane). Thanks to our unique industry-scale prototype and the catalysts we have created, we turn 1 kg of plastic into 1 litre of fuel. By using plastic waste, we are working to build a circular economy that will drive Africa's energy revolution.
PL'POWER is a modular energy system that converts unrecycled plastic waste into electricity through a closed-loop pyrolysis process. The system is self-sustaining by reusing its own combustible gases, with all emissions treated before release. The heat generated is converted into electricity using thermoelectric generators, managed by sensors and a mobile app for smart remote monitoring. Designed for local deployment, it helps reduce plastic pollution while providing clean, reliable energy, particularly suited to rural areas.
An intelligent agricultural robot that combines computer vision, artificial intelligence and environmental sensors (temperature, air humidity and soil) to continuously monitor the growth of tomato plants. It detects diseases and viruses early and analyzes agronomic conditions to reduce losses and optimize yields. Through predictive algorithms, it accurately estimates the optimal harvest period and helps farmers make data-driven decisions.
A connected beverage that promotes health. A smart dispenser of local organic teas—kinkeliba, bissap (hibiscus), moringa, and wass (ginger)—designed to combine well-being, technology, and promotion of Senegalese terroir. This device offers a unique experience by automatically preparing natural teas while measuring blood pressure in real time. An innovation that combines health, taste, and local innovation to promote more conscious and connected consumption.
DripIn turns opaque water networks into intelligent infrastructures for agriculture and industry. Using connected sensors and AI, it spots abnormal consumption patterns, pinpoints leaks and recommends targeted actions in real time. The result: less waste, lower bills and greater resilience in a context of growing water scarcity.
Duras AI leverages accessible artificial intelligence and autonomous drones to proactively monitor elephant movements near human settlements. The platform delivers early warning alerts that prevent human–elephant conflict, protecting lives, livelihoods, and wildlife. It enables sustainable coexistence and is scalable across regions facing similar conservation challenges.
Salita'a Cosmetic is a Guinea-Bissau brand committed to a social responsibility approach, specializing in natural skin and hair care. It designs efficient and accessible products, adapted to local realities, while valuing local raw materials, community know-how and environmentally friendly practices and sustainable development.
Recystation is a smart bin that automatically sorts waste into four categories (plastic, metal, organic and other) while rewarding every eco-friendly action. It generates reliable ESG data that enables companies and institutions to measure their environmental impact. Recystation's mission is to transform waste into economic, social, and environmental value.
